Last year, we had the pleasure of teaming up with design studio B.A.M. to create a series of wall planners, printed on G . F Smith paper. Copies were sent across the country and hung up in universities, studios and bedrooms. After the success of this first run, we want to offer up the same opportunity to an emerging creative.

If you’re selected, we’ll be commissioning you to design a wall planner with a print run of 8,000 copies, to be distributed to Lecture in Progress Members, our extended network, select industry events and universities around the UK.

Whether you’re starting out or still studying, knowing how to plan ahead is essential. While there are countless apps designed to help with this, a wall planner is a great place to start mapping out the year ahead.

The problem is: We’re all familiar with the well-intentioned but sad-looking wall planner hung in a corner, collecting dust. So how do you fix this? How do you get students excited about planning their time?

The chosen creative will benefit from:
– A fully paid commission
– 8,000 copies of your design printed and distributed to universities and stockists across the UK
– Complimentary production of a G . F Smith Make Book, according to your own design and requirements
– A bespoke G . F Smith Make Frame created free of charge
– Unlimited Plus Membership to Lecture in Progress, worth £35 annually

You won’t need to make any new work to enter, just show us something you feel best represents your work. From there, Lecture in Progress and G . F Smith will pick one creative to collaborate with and create the finished design.
