Have you ever spent ages browsing job sites or scrolling through social media for job opportunities, unable to find what you’re looking for? Don’t fear – we’ve collated a list of 18 newsletters and mailing lists that will send a whole host of opportunities straight to your inbox. Who knows, your next job might be an email away!

It can be tough to keep track of all the opportunities out there, which is why we’ve collated a list of 18 different newsletters and mailing lists showcasing UK-wide jobs, open calls, events and more across a number of disciplines.

We know that your inbox is a valuable space, so luckily, many of the newsletters and mailing lists below can be tailored to your interests and requirements, and sent on either a weekly, bi-monthly or monthly basis. And for those keen on finding their next role, some also offer daily job alerts that will let you know as soon as a relevant job is posted.

1. Create Jobs

Create Jobs is an employability programme and network for young Londoners. Featuring jobs across a number of industries ranging from publishing to digital technology and start-ups; they partner with the Kickstart Scheme along with a range of employers such as the V&A, our sister company Anyways Creative, Arts Council England and digital design studio, ustwo. All of these opportunities are collated in their newsletter alongside events and training programmes.

2. Creative Access

: Opportunities for those from underrepresented communities

Since being founded ten years ago, social enterprise Creative Access have placed over 2,000 creatives in jobs, over 2,000 in mentoring schemes and given employability skills to over 50,000 individuals. With a focus on providing opportunities for those from underrepresented communities, their mailing list features jobs across media, theatre, marketing and tech; and having industry partners including the BBC, Penguin Random House UK, Apple and The National Theatre, they have a wide range to choose from.

3. Arts Jobs

Having hundreds of opportunities listed weekly and with opportunities across the arts and culture sector, signing up to the Arts Jobs mailing list is a great way to see what the industry has to offer. Created by Arts Council England, the mailing list includes jobs and open calls in crafts, combined arts, literature, visual arts, music and other disciplines. There’s an option to filter opportunities to your liking as well as to make opportunities region-specific; also letting you choose whether to receive updates daily or weekly.

4. LIVITY

Good for: Jobs, opportunities, events
Frequency: Weekly

Focusing on youth culture and trends, creative business LIVITY’s weekly newsletter is dedicated to connecting young people to the creative industry; promoting jobs, mentorship opportunities and courses, as well as schemes that prioritise unemployed youth. They also have LIVITY network where creatives aged 18 to 30 can find collaborators, access career development events and portfolio drop-ins. Also providing the opportunity to work on LIVITY projects with brands such as Nike, Google and Netflix.

5. Media Beans

Media Beans is a jobs platform that connect writers, journalists and social media and communications creatives to the industry. With listed junior level roles at companies such as BBC, The Times, Mubi and Thames and Hudson, they are ideal for those looking for their first or second role with big names in media and publishing. Sending out a newsletter every Monday, they are are great resource to kickstart a week of job searching.

6. Run The Check

With a large presence on Instagram and connections to opportunities in publishing, galleries, education, tech and more, Run The Check share opportunities for the next generation of talent. Posting everything from Kickstart roles to senior positions they cover a range of roles for those starting out and those looking to advance their position. 7. Social Fixt

Social Fixt are a platform with the goal of “fixing the employment gap for Black talent in the creative industry.” Listing opportunities for up and coming creatives on their jobs board, such as event producers, editors, talent assistants and designers, they are ensuring that one of the most under-represented groups have access to a plethora of roles. Their bi-monthly newsletter shares job opportunities, as well as tips and tricks on not only getting into the industry, but thriving in it.

9. Beyond The Box Consultants

With a focus on building more equitable places for people to live, work and play, it’s no surprise that Beyond The Box Consultants are also providing opportunities through their newsletters. Powered by Rife Magazine, the Meshworks newsletter is produced by emerging creatives on the Creative Workforce for the Future programme, and made for young people in the West of England looking to get into the industry. With the belief that young people know which kind of content, support and opportunities are relevant to current and aspiring creatives; they send out monthly newsletters providing insight, jobs, and opportunities for support such as free talks, time with experts and events.

Specialising in jobs and open calls in the arts and creative industries, Art Jobs have over 20 categories to help you curate a newsletter that’s most relevant to your interests. 12. Culture Central

Culture Central share the latest creative roles in Birmingham and the West Midlands region. 13. ArtsHub UK

ArtsHub UK is a resource that shares news, reviews, grants, courses and job opportunities. They have five newsletters per week, allowing you to look out for different advice and vacancies; with two focusing on industry jobs and news; two focusing on advice from industry leaders and experienced journalists; and another focusing solely on the latest arts opportunities. 14. If You Could Jobs

Our sister company If You Could Jobs are a creative jobs board listing job roles for all levels, and only list jobs meeting the minimum wage and above. Magazine Design Week’s jobs platform, Design Week Jobs specialises in a range of disciplines including advertising, graphics, interior, web design and even furniture design. Separate from the Design Week newsletters that mainly publish design news, Design Week Jobs send alerts to your email when opportunities matching your criteria are available, allowing you to prioritise the latest roles on offer.

16. A New Direction

Focused specifically on young creatives, the non-profit A New Direction lets you select the disciplines you’re interested in: from film, TV and radio to publishing, music, performing, visual arts and more. They’ll then send you a round-up of any newly-listed jobs, training or opportunities. They also have a cultural sector newsletter, providing updates and opportunities to those working in London’s cultural and arts sector.

17. JournoResources

Good for: Jobs and journalism industry advice

JournoResources is a non-profit organisation that supports journalists starting out in the industry. They list jobs that pay at least the National Minimum Wage and display a salary band, and feature internships that pay the the Real Living Wage as set up by the Living Wage Foundation. 18. Creative Lives in Progress
