The event will take place over Zoom on Thursday 20 June, from 17:00 to 20:00 BST, and is split into two parts:

🎤 Part 1 – Panel discussion (17:00 to 18:00)
A panel discussion with a range of industry experts, covering questions on everything from the skills needed to work in strategy, to their tips on breaking into the industry.

🤝 Part 2 – Breakout rooms between industry experts and select attendees (18:00 to 20:00)
Select attendees will be put into breakout rooms with our pros, where you’ll get the chance to meet and ask questions directly to them. This will then rotate, so you get to meet different industry experts throughout the evening.

While all eligible applicants are welcome to attend the panel discussion, there are only a limited number of places available for the breakout sessions, so make sure you sign up to register your interest via the link below.

We’re inviting 15 industry professionals – including planners and senior strategists – to share insight into their roles, shed light on the opportunities out there and offer advice for anyone looking to follow a similar path. This includes some brilliant creatives from our Company Partners, including:

This event is open to emerging creatives with an interest in working in the creative industry. This includes students, grads, or those within the first year of a creative career. You’re only eligible to register if you are:

• Aged 18 and over
• Those within the first few years of a creative career

While no previous experience or portfolio is necessary, we do ask that you submit a question for our industry experts when you apply, along with a short line about why you’d like to attend.

How do we select attendees for the breakout rooms?
The second part of this event is only open to a selection of attendees, so registering doesn't guarantee a place for the breakout room discussions.

In line with our aim to encourage greater transparency and representation within the creative working world, we prioritise candidates from historically underrepresented backgrounds in the creative industries.

This includes (but is not limited to) applicants from ethnically diverse backgrounds; the LGBTQIA+ community; those who are neurodivergent; D/deaf, disabled or have a long-term health condition; and applicants from lower socioeconomic backgrounds.

Deposits
Those invited to attend the breakout room sessions will be emailed a week before the event and asked to pay a £5 deposit. This is to confirm your attendance and will be fully refunded after the session.
