EMPIRE COSMIC is a hybrid graphic novel publishing and film development company. EMPIRE COSMIC was born from a desire for inclusive, immersive, and high concept stories for the screen and the page. We tell genre bending stories with a particular emphasis on raising fresh, inventive voices. Empire Cosmic launches in 2025.

The challenge EMPIRE COSMIC aims to address is simple - the lack of positive representation across mental health, neurodiversity, racial diversity and women-led work on screen. We approach this from a unique perspective, building fanbases through the webcomic and digital publishing space, and then adapting work for the screen.

We prioritise working with female/non-binary, Global Majority, LGBTQ+ and neurodiverse talent. Our projects are made for Gen Z and Millenial audiences, particularly women - as such, we take unique marketing approaches to reaching our audience. We’re inspired by immersive work, new technology, memorable characters, villains and anti-heroes, emotive storytelling, high concept plots, lush worlds and international co-production.

We aim to foster fan communities and generate positive social impact. Underlying that, we insist on equitable formats within film, tv and art collaborations. Social responsibility is a massive part of everything EMPIRE COSMIC plans to do, with a quarter of profits reinvested into social programmes designed to make the world a better place.

PEACE CULTIVATOR is COSMIC's CIC arm designed for this purpose.

We are keen to build an advisory board of creatives from across the following industry, to keep the company accountable and guide our growth prior to launch at the end of 2025.

We are particularly interested in advisors with experience in the following areas:

• Film/TV development and production
• Graphic Novel and Fiction publishing backgrounds
• IP and Book Scouting backgrounds
• Social impact and innovation backgrounds
• Community development backgrounds

Expenses will be paid for this position, and advisors will be compensated for their time. This will depend on experience.
