We are looking for a highly experienced producer with established connections in the commercial, film, and TV industries. Your role will be to increase bookings for our agency by leveraging your network and ensuring our services are well-represented in productions requiring hair and makeup artists.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Leverage existing relationships in the industry to secure new bookings.
- Identify and approach productions that need hair, makeup, barbering, manicurists or face/body painting services.
- Maintain a flexible part-time schedule while driving substantial business growth.
- Work closely with the Last Looks Beauty team to understand our offerings and client needs.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience as a producer or with strong industry connections in the UK film, TV, or commercial sectors.
- Demonstrated success in securing deals or bookings in similar environments.
- Passionate about inclusion, and supporting diversity in the industry.
- Ability to work part-time and autonomously while delivering results.
Compensation:
- This is a part-time, commission-based role.
- You will earn 10% commission on every booking secured.
Here's an example of a commission breakdown for hair and makeup artist (HMUA) work:
Let's say a commercial production requires hair and makeup services for a 3-day shoot, and the total cost for the HMUA services is £3,000. As the agent, you would earn a 10% commission on this booking.
Example Calculation:
- Total HMUA fee for the project: £3,000
- Commission rate: 10%
- Your commission: £300
This same principle applies whether it's a smaller, one-day shoot or a larger film or TV production with multiple artists over several days. The more bookings you secure, the more you earn.
