Zine Workshop: Emotion
Cut Out Club

Opportunity closes: 2 Nov 2024
Type: Workshop
Based: London

Website: eventbrite.com
Instagram: @cut.out.club

In this workshop, we will explore the theme of "emotions" through warm-up activities, creative prompts, and a relaxed block of time to make mini-zines that meaningfully reflect your state of mind and self 🌀

Exploring emotions through the medium of collage zines offers a powerful, non-verbal way to express complex feelings. The tactile, accessible nature of collage fosters creativity without the pressure for perfection.

In our supportive space, you will be able to safely process emotions, share experiences, and engage in self-reflection, which will in turn encourage personal empowerment, emotional healing, and community connection.

Emotions are deeply personal yet universal, making them a powerful theme for creative exploration. Using the wide array of provided materials, what will you choose to fill your zine with?

You do not need any prior experience to take part (though we always do like to welcome back familiar faces!) and included with your ticket is a bespoke handmade envelope full of collage cut-outs to use on the day or take home for later.

Embrace the element of chance, make new like-minded friends, join our supportive community, and most importantly – have fun delving into the zine-making process!

Still unsure about coming along? Check this to see how our previous zine workshop went, or read anonymously submitted feedback here from previous participants.

Please note that this workshop is not art therapy. Though the process may feel therapeutic, our focus is on self-expression and creativity, rather than guided therapeutic support. Please feel free to create at your own pace and comfort level.
