Community Assistant (maternity cover) at Polka Theatre, Wimbledon
This is a part-time 4 days per week role (normally Monday to Thursday) which is fixed term for 10 months from 9th December 2024.

What would you be doing?
The Community Assistant will play an important role in the Creative Learning
team by supporting the Community Engagement Manager to deliver an exciting and
varied programme of theatre-based activities for the local community. You will
provide general administration support for projects including ‘Polka Invites’
our membership initiative and ‘Take Your Seats’, which is Polka’s community
outreach programme. You will be someone who enjoys and is confident working at
a computer to help the work of your team run smoothly, as well as engaging and
building relationships with our community families and freelance practitioner
team.

Salary: £25,000 pro rata (£20,000 based on 4 days per week)
Hours: part-time, 28 hours per week (fixed-term 10 month maternity cover contract).
