BBC Studios Creative is the internal agency which delivers award winning work for brands such as BBC Earth, Doctor Who and Bluey to help grow and amplify these brands on a Global Scale. In addition to this we create brand identities, key art imagery, Social and Digital assets, B2B events, experiential, as well as supporting our growing channels business with global campaigns for TV and social.

Inside the Company

BBC Studios comprises of two world renowned businesses, a content studio which produces and distributes IP, and a channels and streaming business. BBC Studios is the principal commercial arm of the BBC Group. It is responsible for generating revenue and profits which are returned to the BBC to support the licence fee. BBC Studios receives no public funds. From BAFTAs to RTS Awards, BBC Studios is Britain’s most awarded production company and the only producer with three of the top ten shows on IMDB. We’re a major distributor of British content and the home of bbc.com, the widest-read English language news website in the world. BBC Studios is made up of many different departments from Production, finance, HR, Marketing, Consumer Products & Licensing to us “BBC Studios Creative”. Whilst there are 1000’s of employees working for BBC Studios, the Creative team is made up of about 70-80 people. Our awards haul include D&AD, The Drum, Clios, Creative Circle, Promax but to name a few.

You can expect to have clear goals and objectives set with your manager as well as regular 1.1’s, ensuring you are clear on the direction of travel and that you are set up for success.

With regards to training we have access to numerous company wide training courses designed for the BBC which cover a whole raft of areas. In addition to this we have a training plan in place specifically to support the needs of the Creative team. These include workshops with D&AD as well as other industry wide bodies.
