Inside the Company

When the right people meet the right conditions, growth is inevitable. And we’re committed to making those conditions exactly what the design community deserves. How do we do that? Through smart partnerships, free guidance for all, and founding our own initiatives: Common Matters: the event series that unites the creative community, through the matters that matter to us all. Design Next: podcast showcasing voices and stories from the heart of the global creative community. Hear Here: network of female creative leaders, shaping a creative industry that reflects all of us, not just some of us. Over the past 12 years, Craft has remained independent, and grown to a team of twenty. This has allowed us to carve out a niche for each consultant, with teams split geographically and individuals focused on design, strategy, and client services recruitment for both agencies and in-house studios. Many of the consultants come from a design background; this knowledge and interest make them better at their jobs and keep them on their creative toes.

Mission and Vision

Our mission is simple: shaping careers, elevating teams and inspiring progress across the industry. It's why we care so deeply about our partnership with CLIP. Our team wants to grow together and are generous with their time, both internally and externally. Success is shared, so we focus on the long-term rather than quick fixes.

Culture and Benefits

It’s our job to provide everyone at Craft with opportunities to grow and we’re committed to designing a business that allows people to develop, learn and reach their full potential. We are a people-first business that believes it is important for our teams to thrive inside and outside of Craft. By prioritising a positive work-life balance, rewarding great work, and investing in individuals to perform to the best of their ability, we foster a high-performing team that is engaged, productive, and happy. Our flagship 'Flexi500' benefit gives you the flexibility to spend on what you care about; our people put it towards their 'work from anywhere' experience, additional annual leave, or tech that takes you to the next level. If they want to donate it all to charity, we'll double it. Quarterly incentives like trips abroad, skiing, and team away days are regular highlights, and every five years you get a free holiday to celebrate your achievements! The little things? Monthly perks. Flexible working hours. A 4.5 day week. World-class work spaces in London, Manchester and Amsterdam. Annual 'Crafters' awards. The big things? Over a third of our team are parents, and we're proud to support them - starting with enhanced maternity pay for everyone. And we offer a comprehensive health plan designed to manage everyday health needs and promote overall wellness.

Opportunities

Junior talent is welcomed, and many people on our team have joined straight out of university.

Our business is structured for clear career growth and individual development.

Realistically, juniors need greater investment to learn so we pay great attention to that, with investment in learning, support structures in place and a clear progression pathway.

There is a set process for onboarding new people, which is then tailored to their passions, goals, and strengths.

Transparency around pay, benefits, line management structure, and business operations means you’re never ‘in the dark’ at any level.

We're passionate that nobody feels out of their depth, but encouraged and given the tools to grow.
