Inside the Company
From the beginning, Here saw themselves as modern followers of the Arts & Crafts movement. This movement was directly inspired by the designer-craftsman William Morris, who once said: "Only have things in your home that are useful or beautiful." Influenced by this sentiment, Here have developed their own philosophy called "Beautility." This means making good choices that are also desirable. For them, the definition of good choices is shaped by the Arts & Crafts movement but updated for the unique challenges of the 21st century.

Culture and Benefits
In 2020, Here aligned its creative processes with the seasons, shaping activities around nature’s rhythms. Autumn focuses on order, Winter on unity, Spring on newness, and Summer on liberation — a cycle known as the Here Year. The team organises The Almanac, a year-long cultural program fostering collaboration, inspiration, and celebration. They also enjoy a studio run club, book club, yoga, and games night. Slack channels are actively used to share progress and successes, from great client presentations to newly photographed projects.
Opportunities
Here runs a successful internship scheme, offering recent graduates 8-12 weeks of industry experience, working on live projects and an internal brief presented in their final week.
In 2025, Here’s aligning their scheme with the Here Year. Internships will continue in Summer, while Spring focuses on talks and tours for young people to explore the creative industry. In Autumn, Here will host Portfolio Review evenings at their East London studio. Winter will feature an open internship, offering someone without a university degree the chance to work with and be mentored by every department.
