Inside the Company

Readymag is a team of just over 50 employees. Growth is slow and intentional: the company develops steadily, without chasing explosive expansion or jumping through hoops. The team works remotely across the world. There are shared time slots for calls, but overall, everyone works at their own pace—the company values freedom, craft, and responsibility.

Mission and Vision

Readymag as a product focuses on freedom and flexibility: every page begins as a blank canvas, with layout, interactions, and content shaped entirely by the creator. The company’s goal is to give users maximum creative freedom with a tool that doesn't get in the way but helps ideas take shape. Readymag aims to support and expand creativity. As a female-founded and female-led company, it cares deeply about gender representation in the design industry, most noticeably through its Designing Women project. The company promotes high-quality design, helps designers express their ideas, and strives to deepen the creative process on the web. Readymag celebrates and supports talented creators: there’s an annual award for the best websites, a gallery of standout designs created with the tool, and educational content across its channels. The aim is for great work to be seen and for designers to feel inspired and supported.

Culture and Benefits

The company's culture is based on inclusivity, mutual help, and respect. There's no micromanagement or rigid control—it's important that people feel comfortable working and growing there. Readymag offers fully remote work, flexible hours, co-working support, exercise reimbursements, and funding for education and personal development, including courses and conferences. The company also offers paid parental leave for expectant parents of any gender.

Opportunities

Readymag rarely hires entry-level specialists and currently doesn't offer internships: the team is small, and new employees need to get up to speed quickly without extensive training.

Still, the company actively supports students and emerging designers through educational materials, student discounts, programs for schools and universities, and a dedicated newsletter with career resources in the creative industry. Readymag helps them learn, grow, and showcase their work through competitions and its gallery of top designs.
