🚨 Please note that this Portfolio Review is not part of the application process for the Fellowship itself.

This Portfolio Review is open to:
- Visual designers
- Motion designers
- Social creatives (including copywriters)
- Creative technologists
- Filmmakers
We welcome applications from students, recent graduates and early-career creatives. No formal qualifications are required – whether you’re self-taught, currently looking for work or already working in the industry.
Eligibility requirements
To register, applicants must:
- Be aged 18 or over
- Be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship

- Be able to share a strong portfolio of creative work
Applying for this event does not guarantee a place. There are limited spaces available, and selected applicants will be contacted ahead of the event to confirm attendance.
Please be aware that the selection criteria is different from our usual Creative Lives in Progress Portfolio Reviews. As there will be a focus on talent discovery, Google may identify strong candidates for potential future opportunities; however this is not guaranteed.
When and where will it be happening?
The event will take place virtually on Google Meet on Thursday 12 March 2026, and will run for three hours (with breaks) from 10am to 1pm PT (1pm to 4pm ET).
In virtual breakout rooms of two to three emerging creatives and one to two Google reviewers, you’ll have the opportunity to show and discuss your work and receive feedback. Breakout rooms will rotate so you can meet multiple reviewers throughout the event.
How to apply
As part of the application process, you will be required to share examples of your creative work. This could be anything from a PDF portfolio to a website with project linkes and social media profiles. Not sure what to share? Keep reading below for some guidance on what to include in your portfolio.

What should you include in your portfolio?
We’re looking to see how you showcase your creativity, problem-solving skills and use of technology! This can be in the form of professional work, personal projects, experiments or works in progress – what matters most is why you made them and how you think.
Across all disciplines, we’d also be excited to see work that’s curious, culturally aware and that experiments with new ideas and emerging tools, including AI.
- 🔠 Visual designers
Show us how you put your design skills to work – whether that’s creating compelling brand systems, campaigns or visuals. If you’re experimenting with motion, interaction or new tools that’s also a plus! - 🌀 Motion designers

Do you build websites, apps or tools that are clever, surprising or experimental? We’d love to see work that pairs technical skill with conceptual thinking – especially explorations with AI or generative tools that solve problems in new ways. - 🤳 Social creatives
Are you dreaming up social-first content, campaigns or experiences that are timely, funny or shareable? Show us how you spot digital trends and turn them into engaging content with great writing, a strong sense of voice and a hands-on experimental approach. - 🎥 Filmmakers and video storytellers
Passionate about bringing brand stories to life using AI tools? Whether you're a filmmaker, editor, or motion pro, if you’re using AI to create (not just edit) we want to hear from you! Show us how you’re experimenting to bring fresh ideas to life.
