This October we’re bringing you talks by emerging creatives as they share the unique journeys that brought them to working in the industry – including all the twists, turning points and learnings picked up along the way. Register now to join us in-person or online!

What is ‘Creative Lives, Live!’?
When it comes to starting out in the creative industry, it’s rarely one size fits all. Since 2017 Creative Lives has been on a mission to showcase the multitude of journeys that shape creative careers. Our new event takes the interview series that started it all, and brings it to life, in-person and online. So don’t miss out on the chance to join us for Creative Lives, Live!

Here’s what to expect:

  • Talks by three emerging creatives on the unique paths they’ve taken to break into the industry. They will share practical tips, honest insights and first-hand experiences.
  • A group discussion and Q&A round to delve a bit deeper and pose your questions to our panel
  • Networking with fellow emerging creatives (for those joining IRL)

Who will be there?

Shaznay Bartley
Shaznay is a Community Manager at DEPT® and Brixton Finishing School grad, with a background in Graphic Design. She’s passionate about culture, community and creating social content that actually feels human. From freelance design to working with brands like Asda, Nando’s, Ebay and Ford, she’s built her career by learning, creating and taking risks. Read Shaznay’s Creative Lives interview

Iris Deng
Iris is a Chinese-Jamaican-Canadian behavioural scientist turned creative. She designs, writes, and draws, but not always in that order. Iris has worked with Apple, Google, and VICE and trained at Droga5, Type@Cooper, and D&AD. She's here to make sure the future is Deng good. Read Iris’ Creative Lives interview
