We’re looking for an Account Executive who’s curious, ambitious and ready to dive in. If you’re the kind of person who thrives in a fast-paced, people-first environment, to help make amazing work happen, you could be just who we’re after.

Do you get a buzz out of brilliant ideas? Do you love the thought of working at the heart of the creative advertising industry, where no two days are the same?

We’re looking for an Account Executive who’s curious, ambitious and ready to dive in. If you’re the kind of person who thrives in a fast-paced, people-first environment and wants to help make amazing work happen, you could be just who we’re after.

So, what’s Account Handling all about?

Think of it as the glue that holds everything together. Account Handlers are the bridge between clients and the agency – keeping projects moving, ideas flowing and relationships thriving. You’re not just organising timelines and budgets (though that’s part of it), you’re creating the space where great ideas can happen. It’s a great role if you want to be part of a creative industry, but don’t necessarily see yourself behind the pen or the Photoshop file.

You’ll need:

  • People skills: You’ll connect with clients, creatives and suppliers – building relationships that bring out the best in everyone.
  • Organisational skills: Projects can get complex fast. You’ll need to stay on top of what’s happening now and what’s happening next.
  • Communication skills: You’ll be sharing updates, managing expectations and making sure everyone knows what’s what.
  • Resilience: Things don’t always go to plan. You’ll keep your cool, stay positive and find a way forward.

What does a typical day look like?

  • Joining client meetings.
  • Briefing creatives and seeing ideas come to life.
  • Managing timelines, budgets and team resource.
  • Setting up meetings and helping to give our clients a warm welcome.
  • Researching trends, competitors and culture to spark conversations.
  • Supporting senior team members – and learning loads along the way.
  • Sitting in on creative reviews and witnessing great work take shape.

Why work at Drummond Central?

  • We’re 100% employee-owned – everyone here has a stake in our success.
  • Campaign ranked us the #2 regional agency in the UK (and #35 overall).
  • You’ll get to work with iconic brands like Greggs, Newcastle Building Society, Fentimans, University of Sunderland, Jack Daniel’s and more.
  • We’re proud members of the IPA, meaning we’re committed to best practice and ongoing learning.
  • You’ll have room to learn from brilliant minds and grow your skills.
  • We’ve got a bonus scheme – and thanks to our employee ownership, a chunk of that is tax-free.

This is a chance to make your mark and be part of an industry that never stands still.
