About the Programme
We champion the meaningful participation of people of colour in grassroots music education and activities, working closely with local Music Education Hubs.
By fostering early connections with industry professionals, we help emerging creatives become career-ready, explore clear pathways into the music industry, and strengthen their overall wellbeing.

Early career creatives, we are also seeking mentors to guide them along their journey!
Timeline
Open call begins on October 31st 2025 – The program will begin with an introductory session in January 2026. (Further details and date commitments available within the application.)
Applications close on December 12th 2025 6pm.
Mentorship
You will receive eight 1-1 mentoring sessions , three in person creative networking talks and bursary support to facilitate this.

How to Apply
Mentee requirements:
- Attend the program’s opening event.
- Be open to weekly/bi-weekly meetings.
- Commit to set meeting dates and communicate any changes.
- Attend opportunities offered by your mentor.
- Provide monthly feedback to BLiM staff.
Mentor requirements:
- Attend the program’s opening event.
- Commit to at least one weekly/bi-weekly meeting with your mentee.
- Aim for at least two face-to-face meetings during the 4-month program.
- Connect your mentee to at least one opportunity.
- Provide monthly feedback to BLiM staff.
