Build The Way Traineeship
Build The Way

Build The Way is a nine month entry-level architecture traineeship providing an alternative and accessible route into a career designing and making buildings, spaces, cities, and communities.
We offer traineeship placements for young Londoners aged 18-25 at a range of our partner architecture practices across London.
No prior experience is required. We look for applicants with a genuine passion for design and cities.
Build The Way is made up of several organisations that have come together with the shared view that architecture and the built environment needs to be more equitable and diverse.
The trainees are employed by a collective of London-based SME practices with staff numbers under 50. These organisations are powerful drivers in levelling up young talent yet many face barriers when hiring entry-level positions due to time, resource, and cost pressures.
Trainees are paid the London Living Wage for a 32- hour week and spend an additional day each week developing professional practice skills while completing an EPQ at the London School of Architecture.
