MOVE Summit is Scotland’s animation gathering. Our conference in Edinburgh brings together creatives from film, television, advertising, games, and immersive arts to celebrate the art, craft and business of making things move. This flagship event showcases the best work from throughout the industry, and offers a place for industry leaders, support agencies, practitioners, educators and students to gather and get inspired.

We aim to make MOVE Summit as accessible as possible and are offering bursaries to those for whom the cost is currently a barrier. The bursary includes a full access ticket and provision for travel/accommodation and/or childcare expenses up to a total of £200.

Priority will be given to those working in or seeking work in the animation industry, and who are currently un/underemployed and experiencing financial hardship.

These bursaries are intended for those who would otherwise be unable to purchase a ticket to MOVE Summit 2026. If you have already purchased a ticket, either through our ticketing site or a block booking through your university/college, then unfortunately you do not meet our eligibility criteria for receiving a bursary.

Bursaries will be awarded after the deadline to applicants who satisfy the criteria and at the discretion of the MOVE Summit organising team.
