Job Purpose
To develop and execute our clients’ overall digital content strategy with a focus on content marketing for SEO, UX and AI, with some social media. This is a client-facing role.
The Role
Our award-winning Performance Experience team within Spark Foundry is looking for a talented SEO and AI Content Executive / Copywriter to join our fast-growing Content Experience team. The role is perfect for a person who can mix creative customer-focused writing skills with data-driven analysis and SEO / AI experience.
Reporting into the Content Manager, you will be combining SEO keyword research, AI prompt engineering and citation analysis, gap analysis, topical keyword clustering, data research and on-page optimisation with ideating and creating website and organic social, content for a range of clients. You will take responsibility for delivering high quality work to agreed deadlines, and ensuring you are proactive in developing your search insight and research skills.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Writing editorial and product content for a range of client to deliver a great content experience
- Delivering consistently high-quality outputs i.e. blog posts, product pages, meta data, onsite optimisations, presentations, editorial content ideas, video and other content asset ideas, digital PR and outreach content etc.
- Developing an understanding of the role the content plays in forming strong foundations to ensure wider marketing activity can meet business objectives and digital KPIs
- Developing the ability to use industry reporting, analysis and insight tools, such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Keyword Planner, SemRush, Ahrefs, etc
- Analysing performance data to produce content reports and find the areas in need of improvement
- Gaining a wider knowledge of Performance Experience across SEO, content and AI including the ability to execute various aspects of onsite and offsite, with close support from the performance excperience managers
- Supporting managers and directors on ad hoc client’s requests
- Keeping up to date with all content industry developments and driving innovation in content marketing
- Consistently accurate time management and delivering the tasks on schedule and with minimal supervision
- Effective and confident contribution to team meetings, client meetings and the pitch and sales process.
Qualifications
Key Requirements
- Educational or other background in language studies, marketing, media, creative writing, journalism or literature
- Exceptional writing skills and sense of writing style
- An understanding of content for SEO and Ai, including monitoring and researching trend data / keywords
- On-page and off-page optimisation
- Up-to-date knowledge of best practices for copywriting and video content creation
- Familiar with SERPs best practice and AI in SEO trends
- Proven examples of writing/creating compelling content for digital platforms
- Good understanding of measuring content and SEO / AI performance and reporting
- Can-do attitude with the ability to action constructive feedback from clients
- Good attention to detail with excellent proofing and QAing skills
- Creative approach to work and strong prioritisation skills
- A proficiency of Excel & PowerPoint
- Social video experience would be a bonus
