Do you know your ISA from your elbow? Can you make interest rate changes interesting? Are you a words wizard who can educate people while entertaining them too? If so, you could be Chip’s next Savings Content Exec.
Reporting to Chip’s Content Manager, you’ll sit on our Savings Squad. Day-to-day, you’ll be paired with a CRM manager, and work with them to create electric content that speaks to the right audience – at the right time.
Your wider team will be our highly collaborative in-house creative crew. Your mission: to get people excited about Chip’s unique savings and investment offering. You’ll be writing everything from emails to blogs, webpages, push notifications, in-app content and social content too.
Maybe you’re an FT reader who’s immersed in current affairs, and has opinions on everything from memecoin to Trump tariffs. Maybe you’re not an expert, but have a keen interest in fintech and are willing to learn – that’s okay too.
You will need a head for numbers and be ready to grapple with the technical side of saving and investing. A lot of the job is looking at financial jargon and telling our customers what they actually need to know in simple accessible language. You’ll also have a strong creative streak.
This is a junior role, suitable for someone with a few years’ marketing or content experience – or a recent superstar graduate looking to get into fintech. If you don’t have experience in finance or content marketing, we’ll need to see evidence that you know how to structure an article, write impactful copy and have a genuine interest in the industry.
What you can expect to be doing:
- Working as part of a collaborative and driven in-house creative team
- …and partnering closely with the CRM team to deliver impactful content that tangibly helps to hit business goals
- Creating savings content for all our channels
- Writing emails, push notifications, blogs, webpages
- Proofing, QA and peer review content
- Keeping a library of content up to date
- Making data driven optimisations to content
What we’re looking for:
Essential
- Great writing skills – whether it’s a 600 word article or a 6 word in-app message
- Switched on to current affairs
- Interest in finance, and ability to explain saving in a smart and straightforward way
- Head for numbers and data
- Evidence of content creation / writing ability (a portfolio of work, a blog)
- Impressive attention to detail
- Have worked in collaborative environment
- Drive to come to work to move metrics and win
Nice to have
- Fintech experience
- Exposure to direct response copywriting / CRM content creation
- Financial journalism experience
- Experience with Figma, Miro or Canva

- Friday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (Start your weekend early!)
