Copy Intern

We’re looking for a copy intern to join our growing writing team at Koto London.
You’ll work alongside our Copy Director, Senior and Midweight writers on all kinds of projects: tone of voice development, visual identity work, campaign thinking, brand story, concepting and day-to-day writing tasks.

We're looking for someone who:
- Has a genuine passion for writing and an interest in other creative crafts or worlds.
- Has some awareness of the design or creative industry.
- Has a portfolio of sorts, whether that’s self-initiated projects, zines, Medium posts, uni work, Notes app rants or anything else that shows how you think.
- Reads things. And has favourite writers, thinkers or creators who influence you.
- Has at least one piece of writing you’re proud of.
- Can talk about your ideas and decisions, and respond thoughtfully to other people’s thinking.

Our Responsibilities:
- The internship will be for six weeks, five days per week.
- You will be paid £554 per week.
- You’ll be in-person in our Central London Studio Monday-Thursday, with the option of working from home on Fridays.
- We will ensure that you have frequent access to our team, and opportunities to learn from them where possible.
- We will provide meaningful feedback throughout your internship to support your personal development and career ambitions.
