šŸ“ššŸ‡¬šŸ‡­Applications are now open for Writing Our Legacy's Covert Talent Development Programme 2026: The Ghana Issue, delivered in partnership with Writers Project of Ghana.

A brilliant opportunity for up to 16 Black, Asian and ethnically diverse/BPOC writers living in Ghana or who are of Ghanaian descent living in the UK to develop their writing through: four online creative writing workshops, editorial feedback & mentoring sessions with the Guest Editors, peer support through a monthly writers’ group and guaranteed publication in Covert Issue 7.

āœļøThe theme for Covert Literary Magazine Issue 7 is ā€˜Ghana’. For this issue, we welcome Guest Editors: Martin Egblewogbe (Ghana), Mamle Kabu (Ghana), Derek Owusu (UK) and Zoe Adjonyoh (UK), plus our Editorial Board: Elizabeth Johnson (Ghana), Mamle Kabu (Ghana), Anni Domingo (UK), Akila Richards (UK) and Amy Glass (UK).

As part of thisĀ programme you will receive:

  • Four online writing workshops
  • Four online creative writers’ group
  • One online mentoring session with one of the Guest Editors
  • Publication in Covert 7 magazine
