Creative Opps is inviting emerging creatives and experienced creative professionals across England and Wales to take part in its six-month mentoring programme.
The programme brings mentees and mentors together to share knowledge, develop skills and build meaningful professional connections. Each pair will meet regularly throughout the programme, creating a supportive space to explore goals, discuss challenges and identify practical next steps.
For mentees, the programme is an opportunity to:
- Receive personalised guidance from a creative professional
- Build confidence, skills and industry knowledge
- Explore career options and opportunities
- Discuss creative or professional challenges
- Set goals and plan achievable next steps
- Grow their creative network
For mentors, the programme is an opportunity to:
- Share professional knowledge, experience and industry insight
- Support an emerging creative with their development
- Strengthen mentoring, communication and leadership skills
- Help make the creative industries more accessible
- Build relationships with other creatives
- Contribute to the growth of the next generation of creative talent
Mentor pairs will:
- Meet for 1–2 hours each month over six months
- Co-design a personalised Progression Plan
- Agree on goals and areas of focus
- Review progress throughout the programme
- Attend an in-person mixer at the end of the programme
The Progression Plan will help each pair structure their sessions and ensure that both the mentee and mentor get the most from the experience.
The programme is open to participants based anywhere in England and Wales. Reasonable expenses are available to support participation.
