As emerging theatre-makers, Isabella Thompson (performer, writer) and Julia Sopher (director) are always looking for new creatives to collaborate with on 'Plaything'. The production is in constant development and has a further R&D process in the pipeline.
About the show:
Everybody thinks she's a child, including that bloke on the telly. How many characters will it take for this cabaret performer to prove her worth? Or will she always be this industry's plaything...
'Plaything' follows a comedy cabaret performer who is notorious for her on-stage toddler persona. After a condescending live TV interview, she feels forced to take radical action to redeem herself. The tactic? To perform a brand new character every time she steps on stage. Watch the chaos ensue.
