Join Assemblage Collective and fabulous drag artist Lolah for a dynamic collage and drawing workshop.
In this workshop open to all ages and abilities, discover the art of Dragage at this relaxed, social and creative evening event.
This in-person event will give you the opportunity to free up your creativity through quickfire warmups, dynamic collage activities and discussion.
We will explore a variety of drawing and collage techniques through fun and dynamic creative exercises.Whether you're an experienced artist or just starting out, you are welcome to come along and have a go!
During the workshop, you will have the opportunity to depict Lolah through mark-making and collage, with prompts and advice to guide you. We will work dynamically through playful drawing activities before we move onto longer poses, working with a combination of collage and mark-making. Through these activities, we will invite you to be active participants in an experimental format, exploring themes of recording and memory.
We will provide all materials, but invite you to bring along anything you would like to use in your experimental collage creations.
