Explore Stratford through photography and local history on a guided photo walk and heritage talk with Writer and Archivist NazfromNewham.

East London photo walk. Full meeting location details will be shared with ticket holders before the event.

Every month we meet, walk, and take photos! This month we're joined by Naz Hamdi, also known as NazfromNewham. Naz is a heritage and music professional from East London. Her work sits at the intersection of music, nightlife and culture with a focus on documenting and archiving the stories that shape people and areas. She has written for NME, TRENCH, Off Licence, The Culture Crypt and other publications, and was recognised by Clash Magazine as an important voice in music and culture. Through her work, Naz continues to spotlight overlooked histories, particularly within Black British music and film, bridging the personal and the historical through storytelling, programming and archival practice.

The route will take roughly 1h30m but we will stop at reflection points for the talk and photos. All levels are welcome to walk with us. Come with a friend or just bring yourself. These walks are about getting outside, and nourishing your creativity.

The walk is supported by Talitha Thomas-Kelly, an East London based artist with a passion for uplifting underrepresented voices, and fostering creativity. Talitha works across photography, curation, writing and community arts facilitation. artspath is a space for artists to get more out of their practice and build strong creative pathways.

We will meet at 3:30pm and wait a few minutes before setting off.

We will finish near to a tube station and other transport links.

We will stop at some points to re-group.

We will be outside for the entire walk.
