Hours: 8 hours per week + 52 hours per year ad hoc travel

Creative Opps is a youth arts charity that supports disadvantaged young people to access opportunities across the creative industries. Through paid work placements, creative mentoring and a growing youth membership, we help young people build the skills, networks and experience they need to thrive.
About the Role
We are looking for a highly organised, proactive and adaptable Executive Assistant to support the CEO of Creative Opps.
The CEO is visually impaired, so the role includes providing accessibility support alongside a broad range of executive and administrative responsibilities.
Working closely with the CEO, you will help manage day-to-day operations, coordinate schedules, support fundraising activity, assist with financial administration and ensure information is presented in accessible formats.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing the CEO’s diary and scheduling meetings.
- Providing accessibility support, including reading inaccessible documents, proofreading, formatting documents and describing visual content during meetings.
- Drafting emails, letters and other communications.
- Taking meeting notes and minutes.
- Maintaining shared databases and organisational records.
- Supporting budgeting and financial administration.
- Assisting with fundraising, particularly trusts and foundations applications.
Essential Requirements
- Experience fundraising for a charitable organisation, particularly trusts and foundations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- At least three years’ experience in administration or project management.
- Strong Microsoft 365 skills, particularly Excel, Outlook and Word.
- Experience creating budgets and using QuickBooks or similar accounting software.
- The ability to anticipate and respond to accessibility needs.
- Excellent attention to detail and discretion.
Desirable
- Experience working with young people.
- An interest in the creative industries and the arts.
Additional Information
An enhanced DBS check will be required.
Applicants must be based in the UK and have the right to work in the UK.
The role includes pro-rata holiday entitlement and a 3% pension contribution.
Ideally, the successful candidate will work the eight weekly hours across Tuesday and Wednesday mornings (10am), although some flexibility is available.
