Gain experience delivering Jazz on Wick 2026 through this paid 200-hour placement. Work across festival marketing, production and live event delivery, building practical skills while supporting artists, audiences and the festival team.

Join the team behind Jazz on Wick 2026 and gain hands-on experience delivering a live music festival. This paid placement combines marketing and production, giving you practical experience before and during the festival.

Reports to: Marketing Manager & Production Manager
Contract: Fixed-term, 200 hours (including festival days), London Living Wage
Location: Voices HQ and on site during build, festival days
You must be based in Islington for this role due to the placement being funded by Islington Young Jobs.

Deadling: 10th August, interviews same week, immediate start on offer.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing

* Create and schedule Instagram and TikTok content.
* Coordinate artist announcements, biographies, press images and approvals.
* Support cross-promotion with artists, partners and sponsors.
* Submit event listings.
* Capture photo and video content for live social media coverage.
* Track engagement and ticket referrals.

Production

* Support artist advancing, including riders, hospitality, travel and backline.
* Maintain artist trackers, schedules and running orders.
* Prepare artist packs and site maps.
* Assist with crew scheduling, suppliers, hires and load-in.

Festival Delivery

* Welcome and support artists throughout the weekend.
* Assist with stage calls, running orders and green room hospitality.
* Support communication between stage management, front of house and the production office.
* Help manage accreditation, guest lists and box office operations.

About You

You should:

* Be available 4-6 September 2026, including build and derig.
* Have an interest in live events, music, marketing or production.
* Be confident using Instagram and TikTok; Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut or Premiere Pro are a bonus.
* Be organised, proactive and calm under pressure.
* Communicate confidently with artists, partners and suppliers.

Desirable: Photography or videography skills, ticketing or scheduling experience, and a Personal Licence, First Aid qualification or DBS check.
