About the role
We're looking for a skilled freelance editor to take raw footage and turn our episodes from our long-form interview YouTube series into polished, engaging episodes ready to publish.
The series is spotlighting the people shaping African arts and culture - founders, creatives, and leaders building platforms and opportunities across the African creative landscape. Filmed in a candid, relaxed interview style, each episode is built to feel intimate and engaging.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience editing long-form YouTube content, ideally interview-style content (this is not a podcast)
- Proficiency in Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects or DaVinci Resolve (knowledge of other editing software also advantageous)
- Reliable turnaround times and clear communication
- A portfolio or demo reel of similar work
- A flair for good visual storytelling with graphic or motion design
