Location: Central London, in person

Reports To: Daphne Mather, Head of Culture

Contract type: 12-month fixed term contract, 3-month probation

Job Summary

As a General Assistant, you will be at the heart of our studio operations, supporting creative teams and gaining firsthand exposure to the animation production process. This is an opportunity to gain experience in how a leading studio runs behind the scenes while contributing to a collaborative, artist-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support Producers, Managers, and Coordinators across active projects.

• Organise meeting logistics: refreshments, room bookings, transport, and couriers.

• Prepare and print scripts, pitch decks, and presentation materials.

• Manage petty cash and maintain stock of office supplies and studio essentials.

• Keep communal spaces clean, organised, and production ready.

• Act as a key holder for opening/closing the studio, providing reception cover when needed.

• Assist with crew events and cultural initiatives that keep our team connected.

• Respond quickly to urgent matters and report facilities issues promptly.

Skills & Experience

• Strong customer service skills and a professional, approachable manner.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

• Excellent communication skills and ability to multitask.

• Highly organised, adaptable, and proactive.

• A genuine interest in animation and filmmaking.

Personal Attributes

• Friendly, resourceful, and collaborative.

• Reliable and enthusiastic about supporting creative talent.

• Detail-focused with strong prioritisation skills.

Career Path

This role offers a unique entry point into the animation industry, providing insight into studio operations and builds skills for advancement into operations, or production support positions.

Hours and Salary

40 hours a week. General hours: 8am-5pm or 10am-7pm, alternate weeks with the possibility of shift work, including weekends during screening periods. Salary is London Living Wage.
