Splice's Creative Team is looking for a part-time designer across Splice, Spitfire Audio, and INSTRUMENT. This role covers strategic campaigns and brand projects.
About the role
Splice's Creative Team sets the bar for tone and quality across the brand, from product campaigns and artist partnerships to socials, email, and presentations. As the business continues to grow across Splice, Spitfire Audio, and INSTRUMENT, we're looking for a Junior Designer to take on day-to-day production and templated design work, collaborating with the Creative Team to focus on campaign concepting and brand-level projects. This is a part-time freelance/contractor position, ideal for someone who wants regular, hands-on experience within a fast-moving in-house brand team.
What you'll do
- Produce social, promo, and email assets from existing templates and brand guidelines, with quick turnaround for launches and always-on content.
- Help maintain and organise the team's shared asset libraries (Figma, image/photography archives) so campaign and product assets are easy to find and reuse.
- Adapt existing creative across formats and channels (web, social, email, plugin/product surfaces) while staying true to brand guidelines.
- Pick up overflow production requests from the Brand Designer, Senior Brand Designer, and Art Director as workload requires.
- Flag capacity or scope concerns early, and escalate anything outside brand guidelines to the Associate Creative Director.
What we're looking for
- Some experience designing for social, email, or digital marketing - through freelance work, an internship, agency time, or a strong portfolio from study.
- Comfortable with leading concept development and developing assets following design templates.
- Proficient in Figma; comfortable picking up new tools and file systems quickly.
- Reliable, organised, and communicative - able to manage a queue of smaller requests with quick turnarounds.
- An interest in music, music production, or the audio/plugin space is a plus but not required.
Logistics
- Freelance/contractor engagement, 2 - 3 days per week, with the schedule agreed flexibly week to week based on workload.
- Remote-friendly; UK hours overlap preferred for team collaboration.
- Reports to, and is briefed day-to-day by, the Associate Creative Director, with regular touchpoints across the wider Creative Team.
