Learn how to give and receive feedback with care, clarity and respect. Rooted in anti-oppressive practice, this session reframes critique as a tool for community, creativity and growth—not competition or harm.
Join Creative Opps for How to Give and Receive Feedback with Care — a practical Learning & Development session exploring how critique can support creative growth, confidence, and community - led by Member Evie Harman
We’ll look at how to offer and receive feedback with care, clarity, and mutual respect, drawing on anti-oppressive pedagogies and inspired by The White Pube’s Poor Artists and the recently curated Crits Hub learning space. Together, we’ll explore how critique can shift from something competitive or harmful into a tool for collaboration, reflection, and shared learning.
Participants will be guided through approaches that centre compassion, consent, and curiosity, helping creatives build healthier habits around critique and communication. By the end of the session, you’ll have practical strategies for giving thoughtful, constructive feedback — and receiving critique with openness and confidence.
