We’re excited to be recruiting Local Engagement Specialists for Touring Together, a new national touring programme led by China Plate and Fuel 🎭
We’re looking for people based in Leeds, Oxford and Northampton who know their local communities and love connecting people through conversation, creativity and shared experiences.
You don’t need to work in theatre but rather have a passion for connecting people and stories. This freelance role is about:
• Building relationships with community groups
• Helping new audiences feel welcome in theatre
• Shaping engagement and tailored comms around bold, contemporary touring productions
🗓 April 2026 – early 2028
💼 Freelance | £160 per day for up to 35 days across the contractual period
⏰ Flexible time commitment across three years
