Marketing Executive
Tapestry Research Ltd

We're looking for someone with a genuine love of writing and a nose for a good story, to help build Tapestry's brand presence and market position through B2B content people actually want to read.
This role is responsible for keeping our content calendar, website and LinkedIn presence running smoothly and consistently - turning Tapestry's thought leadership and expertise into engaging, on-brand content that supports lead generation and commercial growth - as well as supporting brand-building activity through events, PR and partnership opportunities.
Key responsibilities
Content Calendar & Execution
- Manage and maintain Tapestry's content calendar, working closely with the Commercial Director to ensure it's kept on track and aligned with quarterly and annual goals
- Support the development of thought leadership content - blog posts, LinkedIn content, articles, reports - working with the Consulting team to source case studies and topic ideas, and with senior Tapestry team members who will lead on writing
- Finesse and polish content drafted by others to ensure consistent brand voice, tone and quality, rather than acting as primary author
- Repurpose existing thought leadership and materials into new formats (e.g. long-form articles into LinkedIn posts, case studies into social content)
Content Production & Design
- Format and refine marketing and sales materials - credentials decks, proposals, sales collateral - ensuring visual polish and consistency with brand guidelines
- Use design tools (PowerPoint, Canva, or similar) to make materials visually engaging and easy to digest
Digital Distribution & Management
- Manage and update Tapestry's LinkedIn presence and website content, ensuring timely, consistent publishing and promotion of new content and company news
- Support light SEO best practice to improve organic visibility where relevant
Event, Campaign & Brand Support
- Support the commercial team with coordination around sponsorship, event presence and speaking engagement logistics
- Manage event-related communications
- Assist in tracking and reporting on content and campaign performance
- Think strategically to use content to advance PR, brand and partnership opportunities, sharing Tapestry’s products and thinking to broader audiences
Person Spec
- Education: a marketing degree, or equivalent, is preferred, ideally with up to 1 year of relevant experience (internships, placements or a first marketing role all welcome)
- Proactive and organised: excellent time and deadline management - coordinate work effectively with others, ensures contingency, and strong communication
- Thoughtful Initiator: demonstrating imagination and ingenuity, being thoughtful about how we grow Tapestry’s marketing presence. You will enjoy taking initiative, and be keen to try new things, pick up new tools and processes, and grow into the role over time
- Willing to Learn: our work is complex and we need to make it accessible, you will have a lot to learn and will naturally seek guidance and feedback to ensure tone, style and brand voice deliver
- Comfortable collaborating with senior team members, seeking guidance and thought leadership on written content, ensuring guidance is integrated and building a strong basis for future content creation
Essential Skills
- Exceptional Writing & Editing Skills: Strong written English with a good eye for detail, grammar and tone – able to edit and finesse others’ writing to a consistently high standard, fitting with our brand tone of voice
- Visual Presentation Skills: Proficiency in tools (e.g., PowerPoint, Canva, InDesign, or similar) to create visually stunning and professional documents and digital assets
- Digital Platform Fluency: Familiarity with LinkedIn and basic website content management (via WordPress)
- Industry Knowledge & experience: No specific market research industry experience required – full training and onboarding provided
- Marketing Impact understand key areas such as PR, brand and marketing presence, able to demonstrate capacity to utilise these for impact
