If you’re a UK-based digital artist between the ages of 18 and 28, this open call is your opportunity to gain first-hand experience in developing a proposal for an exhibition at arebyte Digital Art Centre.
Hotel Generation mentors the next generation of UK digital artists during the critical early stages of their careers in the arts. The development programme selects four young digital artists and pairs them with a mentor for online curatorial guidance as they develop an exhibition proposal for arebyte’s exhibition space, with a £1,000 stipend.
This skills-focused programme culminates in a solo exhibition at arebyte Digital Art Centre for one of the four participants, selected by a panel of leading experts from the new media art sector. Hotel Generation aims to equip participants with the confidence to approach galleries, craft clear exhibition proposals, and manage timelines and budgets effectively.
Programme Outline:
● 4 online curatorial sessions with your mentor
● 2 online sessions with arebyte creative technologist
● London Weekend 24-25 Apr 2026 (expenses covered)
● £1,000 stipend (research, equipment, software, etc)
● A solo show to realise your proposal if you are selected by the judging panel

● Not currently enrolled at universities
