We are seeking a driven and keen Production Assistant to work with our experienced production team to deliver outdoor art productions across September and November 2026. This opportunity is for Global Majority* Greenwich residents only.

Emergency Exit Arts (EEA) is one of the country's leading outdoor arts companies working on spectacular events across London, the UK and internationally. Based in the Royal Borough of Greenwich for over 45 years, we are offering a paid placement opportunity exclusively to Greenwich residents. We are seeking a driven and keen Production Assistant as part of our building blocks programme to work with our experienced production team to deliver outdoor art productions across September and November 2026.

The role will be based at our busy making space in East Greenwich and will support the smooth running of events and productions that we produce. You will work closely with the Head of Production and Event & Production Coordinator. You will gain experience of making work at Rothbury Hall, working with Artists and Technicians, delivering EEA productions and all that is involved in putting on a successful outdoor event.

We will introduce you to other industry professionals and support you where possible to secure further employment.

Job Requirements

You will need:

  • To be over 18 years of age
  • To demonstrate a keen interest in production and events
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent IT and technical support skills.
  • Common sense - you will always spot opportunities to simplify and improve processes to drive better results.
  • Enthusiasm & commitment.

Job Responsibilities

168 hours/ 24 days paid at London Living Wage (currently £14.80 per hour) between September and November 2026. You will be expected to work 2 or 3 days a week and this role requires occasional weekend and evening availability for gigs.

Role Starts: September 2026 with some flexibility around other commitments
