About Creative Mentor Network
People from lower socioeconomic backgrounds are not fully represented in the creative workforce, and we exist to change this. We work with some great partners across the creative industries - Sony Music, Soho House, Google and Facebook - matching up their employees with young people and supporting their journey into the industry. Our range of mentoring programmes are designed so that everyone wins: supportive career guidance for young people; training and development for mentors; and access to an amazing diverse talent pool for creative businesses.
About the Role
Creative Mentor Network delivers bespoke mentoring and mentor training programmes for creative industry partners, with varying timelines, deliverables and participants.
We are looking for a Programme Manager with at least two years of experience to oversee the delivery of up to eight mentoring programmes at a time from start to finish, ensuring they have the most impact possible on the young people, mentors and businesses we are designed to support. This will include taking ownership of the programmes you manage, from their initial sign-off to their impact evaluation.
Responsibilities
Programme Set Up
- Lead client meetings so that client needs/briefs are well understood; feed this into programme design and delivery
- Book and brief associate trainers
- Scheduling and arranging training sessions (both in person and online); adding to calendars, inviting trainers, mentors and CMN staff
- Managing assessment centres; scheduling interviews, recruiting volunteers, conducting 1-1 interviews and selecting suitable mentees for our programmes
Programme Delivery
- Liaising with clients to onboard mentors
- Make informed mentor and mentee matches
- Manage training sessions; this includes being present at all mentor training sessions to help manage the sharing of resources, manage the chat feature and answer programme-specific questions that may arise. Training and support will be provided for this.
- Lead mentee inductions. Training will be provided
- Manage programme comms for the duration of the programme
- Manage mentor and mentee WhatsApp groups (during work hours)
- Support mentor and mentees throughout the programme; booking and delivering check-in calls, being proactive to help solve any issues that may arise
- Create programme impact reports and facilitate client meetings around these
- Manage showcase events (in person and online); this involves recruiting presenters, facilitating run-throughs, booking, setting up and hosting events
- Coordinate impact evaluation collection and collation.
Programme Reflection
- Create final impact reports and lead client meetings sharing these
- Assess and evaluate the success of programmes and implement programme improvements where necessary
- Review programme resources and comms to ensure these stay up-to-date
Skills and experience
Skills:
- Highly organised and good at managing a varied workload
- Excellent communication skills; verbal and written
- Ability to communicate with a range of people from mentees to mentors, with the right tone and level of professionalism
- Confident and professional when dealing with external stakeholders
- Confidence in taking ownership of responsibility
- Confident with public speaking and presenting
- Operational mindset, with a proactive approach to improving processes and problem-solving

Essential experience:
- 2+ years experience in programme or project management
- Experience managing multiple projects to tight timelines
- Client management; ability to liaise with clients and ensure needs are met
- Experience communicating both verbally and written to a wide range of people from a young person to a senior stakeholder in a large business
- Experience improving internal administrative processes
Bonus:
- Using software such as Google Calendar/Asana/Salesforce
- Delivering training/workshops
- Experience working with young people
Details
Start date: May 2025
Salary: £36,000
Benefits: 25 days holiday (plus office closure at Christmas), flexible working (opportunity to work remotely 3 days a week, compressed hours), 4pm Friday finish
Location: London Victoria (Tuesday and Thursday) and remotely
Hours: 37.5 hours per week. Flexibility is required for events over the evening.
