Big Team are offering an exciting opportunity for a Project Assistant to get hands-on experience delivering a brand new regional artist programme.

About the Role:

The Project Assistant will work closely with the Project Coordinator, developing skills in event coordination, administration and network management. From behind-the-scenes logistics to delivery, this role provides a well-rounded introduction to working in the events sector.

This is an assistant level role that requires some relevant experience in the events industry or a similar role that demonstrates transferable skills.

About the Project:

This programme will deliver a series of open mic sessions across Bristol and Gloucester, creating accessible entry points for emerging artists to:

  • Build confidence performing live
  • Develop networks within the local music ecosystem
  • Connect into wider talent development opportunities

The project specifically supports artists who are underrepresented in the live music industry - particularly those from lower socio-economic backgrounds and/or the global majority.

About Big Team:

Big Team actively works to create options and access for people where barriers exist in the live events industry. We currently support people who want to create, contribute and attend festivals while forging their own paths in the industry.
