Connect the Buds Project Support - Youth Champions is a 14-week creative learning journey for supporting the next generation of environmental advocates.
Connect the Buds is a group of 18- 25-year-olds who are looking to build a career in the creative industry, environmental action and public practice.
The Project Support team members will advocate for young people’s interest in the Connect the Buds programme. They will, together as a team, take a support role in cultivating and setting the environmental and social sustainability agenda for the young adults.
Connect the Buds provides team members with resources and support so that they can bring their talents, insights and experiences to the programme. The champions will co-create events and outreach activities with the 18-25 Sustainability Hub Officer as well as the rest of the Greener and Cleaner organisation.
There are four structured pathways for successful applicants to contribute to the development and delivery of Connect the Buds, while gaining practical experience, sustainability knowledge, creative skills and career support.
