16 weeks of one-to-one mentoring with creative industry professionals from the Soho House community. Build your network, find your direction, and take the next step in your creative career.
Soho Mentorship is a free mentoring programme run by Creative Mentor Network in partnership with Soho House. Now in its second cohort in Manchester, it pairs young people with experienced creative industry professionals in the Soho House community for 16 weeks of one-to-one mentoring. This programme runs from August to November 2026.
The programme is for people who are exploring what a creative career could look like, building on experience they already have, or trying to figure out their next step. Whatever stage you're at, you'll be matched with a mentor who has real industry experience and the time and commitment to help you get where you want to go.
Over the 16 weeks, your mentor will work with you on what matters most to you — whether that's mapping out career pathways, developing your portfolio, building your professional network, or growing the confidence to talk about your work. You'll meet your mentor for an hour every fortnight, and also have access to a wider community of creatives on the cohort, and group events, including a launch and a showcase.
The first cohort of Soho Mentorship Manchester tells you what to expect. In mentees' own words:
"This changed my life, access to a highly skilled mentor and the opportunity to be a part of the Soho House community has been incredible."
"My confidence in the media industry has increased, I gained a clearer understanding of career pathways and feel more motivated to pursue goals, in documentary production and storytelling."
"Having a mentor that fits my work and what I want to do in the future has really helped me grow. I also enjoyed networking with other creative people going through similar things."
"We focused on insight, networking and navigating the media industry. We discussed goals, opportunities within TV and documentary production, and ways to build my confidence."
This programme is open to people working or aspiring to work across all creative disciplines.
