Studio Receptionist

Locksmith Animation are seeking a polished and initiative-taking receptionist to be the first point of contact for clients, guests, and visitors to Locksmith Animation.
About the Role
The receptionist is crucial for creating a positive first impression and ensuring smooth daily operations. They will undertake tasks including, scheduling, managing office supplies, and maintaining a tidy reception area. They support all teams across the London studio, managing reception duties and assisting with administrative tasks.
Responsibilities
· Welcoming staff and new starters to the studio.
· Greeting visitors and notifying relevant parties promptly.
· Monitoring and controlling access to the studio. Enforcing security protocol for external guests and compiling all necessary paperwork for access control.
· Maintaining clean, organised reception, conference and screening areas.
· Manage refreshments, working lunches and keep a comprehensive inventory.
· Act as appointed first aider, fire marshal and key holder for the building, including responding to alarm call outs as and when required.
· Answer and forward phone calls professionally.
· Maintain accurate visitor, contractor, parking, mail and dog logs.
· Manage access to the studio, including any parking and specific limited access arrangements.
· Assist with in-house events as needed.
· Report facilities issue promptly.
· Attend scheduling and diary meetings and other internal meetings as required.

· Undertaking any other duties as may be appropriate to the nature of the post, as agreed with the Head of Culture.
Qualifications
· Minimum 1 year in a high-volume environment.
· Professional, team-oriented demeanour.
· Strong verbal and written communication skills.
· Ability to multitask and work independently.
· Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
· Organised, resourceful, and adaptable.

Job remuneration and hours: 40 hours a week.
General hours: 8.30am – 5.30pm.
Salary is London Living Wage.
