In partnership with The New Black Film Collective, The Afroniche Society brings you a curated line-up of short films by Audrey Damier, Jason C. Nwachukwu, Uwana Anthony, Akanele Kalu and guest films from Anthony Nti and Rashida Seriki and Tobi Kyeremateng.
Each edition features a curated selection of diverse films, followed by interactive Q&A sessions and opportunities to network with fellow creatives, filmmakers, and members of the ANS community.

This film is a cinematic exploration that reimagines Black boys and men not as threats but as individuals running away from them whilst also navigating a world of their own vulnerabilities and complexities. Through quiet moments and layered dialogue, it examines themes of trauma, resilience, and the nuanced dynamics of friendship in the face of systemic challenges.
EVERYTHING MUST END Dir. Uwana Anthony
Follow a young man caught between the present and the crumbling illusions of the future. Set in a world where memory feels heavier than reality, the film traces his quiet descent through loss, faith, and identity as he confronts what it truly means to let go.

On a sunny day in Ghana, a foreigner approaches two children and takes them on an unexpected trip. The three of them get along so well that “Bogah”, the foreigner, starts to question his initial intentions…
