We believe that most career obstacles are $500 to $5,000 problems. Whether somebody needs clothes for a new job, money to subsidize an unpaid internship, a piece of equipment, or tuition for a class, there are few vehicles to access the necessary support. The Good Job Grant is aimed at addressing this reality.
One person will receive a $5,000 grant to unblock their professional development.
- Anyone can apply regardless of industry, profession, interest, etc.
- Any need that’s tied to your professional growth and development is eligible.
- There are no strings attached. We do not ask you to post about it, get 500 people to join, or hand over your first born.
- We do ask that the recipient keep us updated on their progress and the use of the funds, so we understand how we can improve the Challenge and the Grant.
How to Apply
How It Works
- Sign Up:You must sign up for the Challenge, even if you’re already an Irregular Hours member. Don’t worry, Irregular Hours and the Challenge are free! You can sign up at the link!
- Make An Account: If you aren’t already a member, you need to make an account via web or, for the optimal experience, on the app (iPhone orAndroid).
- Make Your Cheat Sheet: The Challenge is about two things: Cheat Sheets and Shares. Once you join, make your Cheat Sheet.
- Share Your Cheat Sheet: For 21 days, you need to do 1 share per day. No freezes or make-up shares. We’ll send you daily notifications to remind you.
- Apply For Grant: At the end of 21 days, you’ll unlock the grant application. It takes about 7 minutes to complete. We select 20 people to interview. And then voila! We award the grant.
