Ready to jump-start your photography career? Get a taste of life as a trainee with an inspiring, hands-on studio experience.

Explore The Photography Foundation’s Training Programme with a hands-on Taster Session—experience the studio, meet the team, and get tips on writing a strong application.

If you’re aged 18–25, based in London, and considering our six-month Training Programme, this session is the best way to see what it’s all about. Join us at our fully equipped photography studio in North Greenwich for an interactive introduction to life as a trainee.

Doors open at 5pm for a 5:30pm start.

You’ll:

Get creative: Try studio portrait photography and editing using Mac desktops and Adobe software.
Explore the studio: Tour the space where trainees learn, experiment, and gain real-world experience.
Ask questions: Join a Q&A with programme facilitators and current trainees to hear firsthand what the programme involves.

Attending is strongly recommended to help you prepare a successful application and understand the commitment and opportunities the programme offers.

Booking Fee: A £5 booking fee is required and will be fully refunded once you attend. Spaces are limited—if you need to cancel, please let us know so we can offer your place to someone else.
