Type Design Internship

We’re looking for a Type Design Intern at Koto London. Got an eye for detail, a love of letterforms, and a curiosity for how typography and branding work together? Come and join us and support our team on exciting type projects.
The Role
A typographer in the making. You are detail-driven, craft obsessed and excited to explore typefaces, wordmarks, and their application within brand identities. You have a small portfolio of work and big ambitions. No experience or education required.
Your Responsibilities
- Working alongside our Senior Typography Designer, you’ll be honing your skills on live projects within multi-disciplinary teams.
- You are hungry to be hands-on with type development, working from initial sketches to final production and delivery. You embrace both creative exploration and technical refinement.
- You support, study and learn from the team around you as a matter of necessity.
- You demonstrate a relentless interest in the studio are proactive, and look to support the team however you can.
- You have a willingness to work in person in our London studio, and are able to attend both work and meetings on time.
