Welcome to the application form for the 'Best Summer Job Ever' Internship, brought to you by VCCP and The Challenger Academy in Stoke-on-Trent. This 4-week programme is designed to give you a behind the scenes experience of what a career in advertising is like, as well as key employability skills via training and workshops.
The Internship will take place from Monday 3rd August - Friday 28th August 2026. It will be based in our Challenger Academy office on the historic Spode site in Stoke-on-Trent. You will be contracted to work 9am - 5.30pm, Monday - Friday throughout the internship, with one travel day per week to London - fully expensed.
What can you expect from the internship?
- An introduction to, and experience in, multiple advertising and creative careers.
- Experience working on live projects for some of our flagship clients such as LinkedIn, Co-op, Muller and more.
- An abundance of training and mentorship from the best in our industry on everything from conducting research and developing a creative idea, to CV writing & interview skills.
- A team-based pitch challenge.
- A fully expensed trip to our London office each week.
- Competitive salary: £2,220 (gross) for the 4-week internship
KEY DATES
- Application deadline is 11.59pm Sunday 12th April. No submissions will be reviewed after this time.
- Shortlisted candidates will be informed by 5.30pm on Friday 24th April
- In-person interviews will take place on Thursday 28th May at our office in Stoke-on-Trent.
