Open to everyone! In this workshop, Dom (The Arena) and James (Represent) will deep dive into what makes a great design portfolio. We’ll use a live example to run through the essential components that every entry-level portfolio needs to get your start in the industry - the dos, the don’ts, the definitelys! Plus, there's always time for some Q&A.
Alongside running The Arena, Dom is a freelance brand and graphic designer, who since going freelance in 2021, has worked with some of the UK’s top creative agencies, as well as an array of exciting and varied independent clients.
James is a recruitment consultant from leading design recruitment agency, Represent. James worked with Burberry, Alexander Wang, and White Cube before joining Represent in 2019. He now supports junior and mid-weight designers in securing freelance and full-time roles, bringing energy, curiosity, and a sharp eye for design to career guidance.
