David Parr House is currently looking for a Visitor Experience Manager to oversee visitor experience, daily site operations, volunteer management, retail development and the smooth delivery of tours, exhibitions, workshops and events.
Experience Manager is a wide-reaching and varied role that is central to the successful operation of David Parr House as a cultural destination and heritage site. Acting as a key member of the staff team and public face of the organisation, the postholder will oversee visitor experience, daily site operations, volunteer management and recruitment, retail development, and the smooth delivery of tours, exhibitions, workshops and events.
The role combines hands-on operational management with public engagement and community building, ensuring visitors receive a high-quality and welcoming experience while supporting the continued growth and development of the organisation.
At least 1 year of relevant experience is required, particularly in relation to working with volunteer teams
Job Hours: Full-time, Tuesday to Saturday
Salary: £28,500
Contract Type: Fixed-term, 1 year (with potential for renewal)
