The Supporting Act Foundation is teaming up with Will Smith launching the Will Smith Emerging Artist Fund to support emerging music artists from underrepresented groups in the countries from his 2025 “Based on a True Story” Summer Tour.
Amount:
- 20 unrestricted grants of €5,000
Purpose:
- To help artists cover various expenses associated with their artistic development.
Eligibility:
- Emerging music artists from underrepresented groups, 18-30 years old, based in one of the countries that are part of Will Smith's 2025 Based on a True Story Tour in Europe:
Austria, Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Monaco, Norway, Spain, Switzerland or United Kingdom.

Note:
- This open call is not for: managers, agents, duos, bands or collectives. Former or current TSAF grantees are also not eligible.
Timeline
1. Call for submissions opens: August 4, 2025
2. Submission deadline: September 1, 2025 (11.00 AM CET)
3. Applications review: September 2—24, 2025
4. Notifications to applicants: first week of October, 2025
5. Transfer of grant: October 2025
