On Thursday 12 March, we’re hosting an online Portfolio Review for US-based creatives in conjunction with the Creative Fellowship at Google. The event is open to emerging creatives working across visual design, motion design, social creative roles, creative technology and filmmaking. 🚨 Please note that this Portfolio Review is not part of the application process for the Fellowship itself.
Who can apply?
This Portfolio Review is open to:
- Visual designers
- Motion designers
- Social creatives (including copywriters)
- Creative technologists
- Filmmakers
We welcome applications from students, recent graduates and early-career creatives. No formal qualifications are required – whether you’re self-taught, currently looking for work or already working in the industry.
Eligibility requirements
To register, applicants must:
- Be aged 18 or over
- Be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship
- Have between 0 to 5 years of professional experience in the creative industry
- Be able to share a strong portfolio of creative work
Applying for this event does not guarantee a place. There are limited spaces available, and selected applicants will be contacted ahead of the event to confirm attendance.
When and where will it be happening?
The event will take place virtually on Google Meet on Thursday 12 March 2026, and will run for three hours (with breaks) from 10am to 1pm PT (1pm to 4pm ET).
In virtual breakout rooms of two to three emerging creatives and one to two Google reviewers, you’ll have the opportunity to show and discuss your work and receive feedback. Breakout rooms will rotate so you can meet multiple reviewers throughout the event.
