Calling UK-based emerging designers: as part of our Portfolio July, we’re bringing you a whole host of Portfolio Review events focused on getting into graphic design. Applications close at 11.59pm on 12 July 2026.
If you’re studying, recently graduated, or are within the first year of your career, this is a great opportunity to meet experts and get feedback.
In July, we’re excited to offer more Portfolio Review events designed to give you the opportunity to receive personalised feedback, get inspired by others and take your work to the next level.
🚨 There are a limited number of places available, so be sure to apply soon as applications close at 11.59pm on 12 July 2026.
If you're based in London, why not apply for our in-person event on Wednesday 29 July?
Our Portfolio Reviews are open to students, grads, or those within the first year of a creative career, including freelancers. You are only eligible to apply if you are:
- Within the first year of your career
- Not in full-time creative work
- Based in the UK
- Aged 18 and over
You will be required to have something to show (e.g. a few projects or pieces of work that capture what you do), but don’t worry if this isn’t a polished portfolio.
Please note: There are a limited number of spaces for this event, so applying doesn’t guarantee a place.
How will it work?
Our Portfolio Reviews are fast-paced: in breakout rooms of three emerging creatives and one reviewer, you will get the opportunity to show and discuss work, as well as get advice and feedback. This will then rotate, so you’ll get to meet several reviewers throughout the evening.
Who will be there?
We will be joined by a range of reviewers, including creatives from our Company Partners – check them out below. Stay tuned as we’ll be announcing our full line-up soon.
FAQs
How do we select attendees for our Portfolio Review events?
First, we review all applications to make sure your work aligns with the discipline we're focusing on – in this case, graphic design. Ideally, you’ll have a handful of projects or examples you’re ready to share during the event.
Due to high demand and limited capacity, spaces are then allocated through a lottery system. However, we do prioritise applicants who have previously applied but haven’t attended a Portfolio Review event with us before.
Those invited to attend will receive an email at least a week before the event to confirm their place. If you don’t get a spot this time, we’d love for you to apply again next time. Just let us know on the form that you’ve applied before, and we’ll be sure to prioritise your application.
I’ve attended a Portfolio Review event before, can I still apply?
Yes, of course – but please note that you will be automatically added to our waitlist. We love seeing familiar faces, but our goal is to give as many people as possible the opportunity to attend, especially those who haven’t yet had the chance.
If you’re based in London, why not apply for our in-person event our in-person event Wednesday 29 July.
If you have any questions or concerns about this, please don’t hesitate to reach out and we’ll be sure to do what we can to help. We appreciate your understanding and can’t wait to see you – whether this time or at a future event!
